This weekend, one of Europe’s biggest Couchsurfing events returns for its seventh incarnation.
Milan007 promises to bring hundreds of Couchsurfers to the streets, with parties and picnics galore. The festival starts on Thursday and goes until Sunday, with the main events —the legendary Tram Party (already sold out!) and a night party —scheduled for Saturday.

Fancy adding a touch of color to Amsterdam this weekend?
Every Sunday, María and other Couchsurfers go Yarnbombing around the city.
Also know as “guerilla knitting”, this is a beautiful type of street art that involves using yarn and other fibers, knitted and crocheted together, to create all sorts of colorful installations in otherwise dull environments.
"We meet on Sundays at Vondelpark where we LEARN something new each day from someone, we CREATE something with it, we SHARE our creation for a collective project (also words, food, fun…!), and then we TEACH what we’ve learnt to someone new."

If you’re in Arlington, TX, this weekend and you hear a light aircraft passing overhead, make sure to wave!
Every Saturday Ahmed takes his little Cessna 172 up into the sky to build up his flight hours, and he’s welcoming Couchsurfers along for the ride!
"We can go to the beach, down to the South, or we can fly over Dallas on our way to Oklahoma, maybe have lunch in San Antonio, or we even can go ride some elephants in Thailand :D"
