We’re so inspired by the Chilean Couchsurfing community, who continues to hold their yearly meetings around the country. This year’s event was held in the beautiful Easter Island. No big deal.

Thanks to surfers Francisco Carmona and Roberto Osorio for organizing this great event!

"I didn’t just want to travel anymore. I wanted to become a local, more importantly, a Couchsurfer. One couch at the time. I went for trips to Dublin, Stockholm and Bologna… It wasn’t just traveling anymore, it became a lifestyle and I was part of it."

This past weekend the Couchsurfing staff took a trip to the American River for two days of rafting. “Epic” is an understatement…

"Gang - I knew I was gonna be glad we took this trip together, but I have to be honest and say that I couldn’t have known it would be so much fun.

It was a huge pleasure for me to see you all enjoying time together outside the office.  We are all lucky to work with such awesome folks. Gotta love Couchsurfing for bringing us together.”
~ Tony, CEO

"This weekend cemented all suspicions of how great my colleagues really are. We’re a team that can not only run into rocks together, but get flipped over, bashes around in the rapids, and come out laughing.”
~ Nathaniel, Mobile Software Engineer

"Epic. It’s amazing to be part of such a fun team. A team you’d trust to run a raft against a rock with."
~ Martina, Community Manager
