"Couchsurfing can be an amazing experience that brings loads of good vibes and lasting memories. It can help you make friends around the world. It can help you learn languages and hear snippets of peoples’ lives that change your view of life. But most importantly, it is a tool for forging safe connections between travelers and hosts, and one that should always take into account the risks and rewards of responsible travel.”~ Kay, on Couchsurfing as a solo traveler: http://bit.ly/ZtHuU7

"Back home, we offered our couch to complete strangers in need of a place to stay. On the road, our offers were returned tenfold. I think you get more out of Couchsurfing than you could ever put in, and that’s part of what makes it so incredible."~ Couchsurfers Oren and Cassie, http://bit.ly/1Ba6C0c

"If you’re ever stranded in a small town because your road trip van maybe died, do not fret. Because there’s a possibility you could couchsurf with the sweetest, coolest, punk rock vegan couple that ever lived. And they will let you sleep in their teepee and then give you a beautiful pair of handmade wings to fly around life with (in case your van is doomed)! Ps I have always ALWAYS wanted costume wings so this was probably one of the best days of my life.”~ @stephaniehurtado (http://bit.ly/1uIzEUV)
